El Jolgorio sits at the top of Casa Cortés's portfolio, above the everyday Nuestra Soledad line. Each release is a limited, individually numbered batch from one family in one village, typically made from wild or semi-wild agave harvested at full maturity.
Because the label chases rarity rather than volume, the range moves constantly. Tobalá, Barril, Tepextate, Madrecuixe, Arroqueño, Wild Espadín and Pechuga appear and disappear as agave becomes available, and each bottle carries its own batch details.
The style is uncompromising: no additives, natural fermentation, copper distillation and bottling at natural strength. These are sipping mezcales, priced and built accordingly.
